It's a forum, no room for reading, logic, or being considerate of other peoples situation.

At least one looks good. How does the crank look? My guess is it will need machining to make it correct, maybe get a way with a heavy polish.

the crank was looking good, just some minor scratches, we are going with a heavy polish so I can have a functional car while I decide which way to go.

Sell the Kelfords cams and/or the 20v header or sell the entire head and go for a 20v and let it stock for a couple of months, it's almost the same amount of money Nico, and a good upgrade for Primerín.

Go 20v!.

bad news, found why bearing were spun, bent rod.

AFAIK a bent rod means detonation (I've never heard detonation in this setup, so unlikely) or maybe a kind of hydro lock due to excess oil in combustion chamber.

I say this because spark plug on the same cylinder came out wet and there is an oil leak beside the exhaust port and the header collector, see picture bellow.

Dont polish the crank too much without measuring the journal because you can get out of spec. easy!!

thanks Payu, the scratches were mostly superficial, so they went away with a light polish. Good to know though.
