so lemme get this straight...you have a restrictive exhaust now,but you would rather spend the money on a nitrous kit?
How do you think that will be worth anything if your exhaust is restrictive now? Nitrous will need even more to make good gains.
...Not to mention Nitrous is not FREE(at least for most of us) and the bottle goes empty fast if you use it much.

The cutout will be the best of both worlds since its quiet most of the time.Only loud when you want it.

Yeah I'm more concerned about hp to cost lol a 50-75 wet shot would cost $400 or so and would be good for 10x more hp than the exhaust :/ I guess cutout it is

plus dont forget its over 50 buck each time you refill the bottle. It seems most people forget about that expense until after they have the Nitrous kit...LOL

fuk the cut out and get a tune able ecu. might get closer to your 180whp on stock cams.

Lol I'm getting the cutout for 90, free install.. no way in hell will I be able to get a obd2 tuneable ecu for even a fraction of that lol

I agree with BlueRB. Get an Ecu. Go get it tuned, while your at the dyno, pull the exhaust off for a few pulls and then you can judge for yourself if the cut out will be worth the cost. I think if your exhaust is as crapppy as you say, I bet it'll get you to 180whp...

Going to test a cut out in a couple of weeks. Basically stock ve with N1's, possibly the 4-1 header the PR boys use with 2.5" cutout, bullshit 2.25'' cat back, and intake. Currently addressing body work but will be tuned soon enough. I'll report back with our results.

I have a electric 2.5 in cutout on my car and it makes same power with it open as with open header no exhaust!!! I have 3in piping to the cutout and an OEM mufler on the back!!

How does the power compare between the open cutout and stock muffler?

Really not interested in perform that test but OEM silencer its like 1.75 pipe so its very restrictive I would gues like 10-15 whp less on my setup jejeje

It has a basic tune already which gave me decent numbers, just can't be spending $500 on a ecu then 150 to get it tuned
