3" incher will be awesome with a slightly modded VE. Also if you can, get rid of the cat. I saw a 6whp gain on my car. Depends where you life if you subject to emissions

i am running the stock de headers with a full stock exhaust hallow cat i disconnected my exhaust tip and i can hear the vvl engage now

Get a test pipe where the cat goes and weld a cutout right there.. Leave the shitty stock b13 exhaust lol I love being able to close my cutout and hearing almost no exhaust and thats with a 2.5" crush bent. Also get some SSAC headers from ebay and port match it all up and you will notice a huge difference guaranteed

I installed this on a B13 with a vibrant 3 inch stealth oval muffler and 3 inch muffler shop res. (No cat) The car was not loud but you could still hear the exhaust tone. Only WOT or VVL engagement was loud.
