There is something to say about making a solid car before making any modifications. You will notice as you drive the car things will need attention, at this point do your research and buy upgraded parts if you wish or a quality replacement. DE's have potential without spending a ton of money as well. If the stock DE is solid don't be afraid of throwing a turbo on it, in my eyes there is nothing great about swapping a DET in when the stock DE has proven many times over to be responsive and reliable on a simple turbo setup.

VE's are fun, i love mine but DE's are not dead, with a simple setup they can be very fun.

Also very true about the DE, I do miss my cammed DE. And that was a blast to drive.

DE+S4s+fidanza(few other basic mods)= good times

I had a 91 SE-R, original SR20DE. JWT S3 cams, Hotshot header (remember those??) 2.5" exhaust, cold air intake. That's it. It was a blast. Kicked everything's ass back in the day (1999-2002). Now frikkin Honda Accords run 14's stock. Ridiculous.
