Are you keeping the AAC for emissions or for fun.... I use mine to switch vvl now. If you have to keep it you can trick the ecu into thinking its working with resistors or keeping it plugged in but off to the side.

if i dont have to use it then that is fine. when i started the car yesterday and put my finger over the line the car died out thats why im asking. but using if the switch vvl sounds more useful. could you explain how to do that.
also if i just pull the line off of it and plug it will the car idle correctly once warmed up?

I'm running nismotronic and it allows me to control the AAC as an output so I use it to control one of my vvl cams. If your running a stock ecu you might get an error if you don't keep the AAC plugged in. Plug the open vacuum line to stop any leaks and see if that helps. Post pics of what you want advice on so we can see what's up.
