Thread: Tips for SR20ve VVl swap.

I have a 1995 200sx SE. I was hoping to find out the best transmission for swaping in a SR20ve vvl and will i have to convert to hydraulic clutch. I know i Need and SE-R cross member so the pan will clear. Any other tips for this would be awesome. Like can i use parts from a regular SR20de, things like Hose and what not. I am purchasing the engine and exhaust very soon. The only hold up at this point is the transmission. Help me out.

if you want to do this swap the easiest way. Please spend all your time right now and search this forum. Take your time and read. There are plenty of people on here that are willing to help, ( even myself. i swapped a sr20ve motor into a 97 200sx se) but all of your answers you just asked have already been answered.

I'd hold off on the hydraulic conversion until after you have everything running right w/ the swap, there's a lot of variables, and then it will be one less thing to get in the way/worry about.

If your going all motor a b15 Trans us pretty good gears are a little shorter but works great with the be and it's hydraulic so you won't have to convert
