Cool. i'll probably head out to Island in NJ. Should be a good month left to go before it gets too cold out, (although it's been freaking 80 degrees here lately)

My Sentra when it was NA in a similar state as yours with pretty much the same weight reduction weighed in at 2330 without me.

It is right below the Maryland border. Not sure how far from you, but about an hour from me.

How did you go about removing the tar under carpet? And it was removed from under front seats right? I got that crap removed from under back seats but didn't pull carpet in rest of car. What you think the tar itself all weighed when done? I know that crap in trunk and under backseats was like 6lbs total, was a lot of work for 6lbs.

Another set of doors will do the most justice. Cut them up and its about 100lbs savings combined. If I was to guess I'd say your car is around 2150 - 2250.

Didn't get past the center of the car. And I think the same guy said all the carpeting together weighs 12lbs. So say he's correct, and that's 64lbs. Not too bad, but it's a pain in the you know what. Then theres always the side door panels (20 each I think?) and that safety bar in each that weighs 25lbs.

Btw since im on street tires, 195/55/15 - what pSI should i lower the fronts to? 18psi?

Edit: Great, now a tropical storm is coming up this way with flooding rains tomorrow and most of Friday. So it looks this weekend is out. Another week of driving around with no interior, lol
