Highport TB on VE...
I am having trouble with the VE TPS that came on my engine so I ran to Pick N Pull to only find a highport TB. Now my questions are:

From what I researched in order to get this to work is to swap over the wheel for the throttle cable. Does anyone have any idea how to pop it off?

Also I just needed to know how to use the VE coolant lines on the DE TB? The VEs lines are so much larger then the de inlet and outlet.

hopefully you grabbed the wheel part from the highport as you will need it.. you kinda gotta just make it work man, its not all the difficult just try combinations untill something is right.. i have highport tb on both my ve's..

as for the lines, i usually just loop them..

Yeah I have the wheels for both TBs. And what do you mean by looping the lines? Just run the 2 big water lines into each other?

ya i just took one line an ran it to the other nipple so to speak.. i highly recommend using new GOOD clamps..

its not to difficult to make the tb work using the de parts, Hell, I did it! :P then again, they do call me Macgyver..

Just to be extra clear you just took the coolant lines that ran to the VE TB from under the manifold with say a barbed fitting? Then just looped inlet to outlet with a new hose(from tb side to other side)

and for the wheel did you just pryed with a flat head between the wheel and the throttle body itself.

Correct no more coolant through tb..

U should be able to use washers or spacers to get the room u need for the wheel

How did you pop the throttle cable wheels off each TB? Pryed with a scre driver after you took that 12mm nut off? @lynchfourtwenty
