Wait what? What was your max HP before you lost that? Please tell me it was like 400whp or something. 30WHP loss is insane

Update: My corrected dyno was 213@162. Im very happy wih my results his Monday.

So i took her out to Famoso Raceweay for some 1/4 mile action. ALthough i had slicks i could use, i opted to use my drag radials instead. BIG MISTAKE. i was consistently at a 2.1 60' and just could not break 94 mph on trap. Even launching at 4200 i would still spin the wheels. I have to admit i am not used to having more torque. It is like re-learning my car again. I either have to play with my launches more or buy a set of slicks. My best time was a 14.7 which should be in the low 14's or even high 13's in my opinion. Overall, i love driving the car..so much fun!

Slicks are a must! See you next Friday and you better throw them slicks on

Any updates? And for those that are vvl NA gurus what should his car be running with 213hp? My stock ve ran 14.6 @ 98mph with a 2.4 60ft.

Nice build by the way very clean work.

Definitely interested to see how this runs once you get it tuned exactly how you want it.

Are you using the Coil-on-plug setup? If so are you using the stock 20v or AEM smart coils?

Did you ever change your cam degree afterwards; retarding the exhaust cam 5° or advancing the intake cam 5°?

With that HP I would say 13.5 @ 104 on radials.

Update:
Changed the cam timing back to 0,0. Took it to be dynoes and power was climbing passed 7800 then the VE chain snapped. Gonna check today and see if i destroyed any valves and pistons. SIgh...here we go again.
