sr20ve rocker question
hi there
i juste remove the head on my ve and found something weird
there a little pin that lock the thing togeter, on mine, this pin is moving a lot from right to leg so they can make unlock the part in brown just a bit
as you can see on this image,

i dont know if you understand what i mean, but is this normal because its the only one doing that, and what can i do for fix that

yes its fine. mine does the same, as do all vvl rocker arms. it just allows it to pivot. the actual locking pin is vertical in the middle of the rocker

i tried posting a link of how vvl works but the site needs to approve it first so it might pop up idk, but just google how vvl works and its the first link that comes up

ohh yeah it help, it seems like i miss a little snap ring so the bearing roll pin is moving to much, i need to find one omg!!

do you have any information about that little snap ring, i would like to order one, but i suppose it all come togeter, is there something a could use for a replacement, maybe some mesurement or something that could help

I doubt you can order a replacement snap ring from the dealer. They are the smallest snap rings I have ever seen. Best bet is get a used rocker arm.

Each roll pin has two snap rings located on the ends. If you're missing one, just stake the end with the missing snap ring with a stop or jb weld it,blue loctite, center punch it, what ever to stop it from sliding all the way through. There isn't a lot of thrust force on the roll pin.

all of mine move a bit left and right, but that snap ring is there to keep it from sliding out. you should be able to see if there is no snap ring, it would be able to slide right out.
