I am no expert on the this but from what I have seen that works great

1 3/4 to 1 7/8 total length 21 inches long with 2.5 inch collector stepped up to 3 ( 2L - 2.2L )

1 7/8 to 2 total length 21 inches long with 2.5 inch collector stepped back up to 3 ( 2.3L - 2.4L )

I tend to think that on a 2.0 , a 1 5/8 to 1 7/8 w a 2.25 would best suite a sub 250whp 2.0.

Yeah, i dont like anything bigger than 2.25" choke. Are we talking inside diameter? What about lenght - 21" seems too short. I do like something around 25"...

On the tri-Y headers do you still run a 2.25" choke?

Are tri-y's as sensitive to the choke as 4-1 headers? I generally see them with bigger or no chokes.

Do you run the same size, i.e. 2.25"?

I wonder if there is any correlation between elevation and choke/header sizes in general. I went from a 3" choke to a 2.25" on my old 4-1 and bottom end felt better, but up top she was dead. I'm at 6000ft more or less.

Dont know we are @ sea level!! but yes even on the 2.4L seem to like the 2.25 better than 2.5
