Thread: Can GA16DE fuel pump work with SR20VE???

I'm doing a GA16DE to SR20VE swap to B14 chassis. In getting the parts for this swap, I've literally blow thru my budget and i'm now considering leaving out a few mods until later, just to have enough money left to do the actual work. So far i'm gonna be reusing the stock ve headers and secondary and stock air filter box and tube.

However being that i'm out of funds for parts i'm also considering to keep the my old 1.6l fuel pump.
Can anyone confirm if this stock 1.6 fuel pump will work with this new 2.0l vvl engine?
I have read where the stock GA16de and SR20de pump is the same, however i'm unsure if this same pump can be used on the vvl engine.

Yes. I swapped my setup into a le. Kept the le pump and didn't even have to retune with the ga pump. Oem is a lot simpler.

Ga pump will be fine. Don't upgrade the fuel pump until you have an AFPR to go with it.
