Thread: Just got my 20V header back from Protech Fab.

20v not 20ve. they normally run around $400 and iirc the hotshot gen 6 was designed off it.

I understand that the "20V" is a version of the SR20 with VVL and has a better flowing head than a standard SR20VE.. but not 5 valves per cylinder as the name suggests..

i thought it was called the SR20VE/20V like the SR16VE/N1 or something along those lines..

anyway, so it's a JDM header that came stock on Nissan's with the 20V? it looks like an aftermarket header, which is why I am asking..

yes, i made the same assumption way back in the day!

It is not an after market header. I had it ceramic coated to help with cooling and make it look prettier.
