SOrry it took a while. I installed the Header on Monday and got it tuned on Tuesday. Header feels great! Power to 5K, loses a little, then back again after 6500. Not a lot of loss or even noticeable, but the dyno shows improvement overall over the SSAC Header. The SSAC header with 2.5"-3" cone had more torque from 5000 to 6500 and that's it. The 20V header with 3" pipes owns it with 8whp more and 1lb of torque.
Only a few fitment issues with the 3" pipe from Protech. The first 45 degree bend after the flex pipe hits my Progress swaybar. I grinded down the swaybar 1/4" of it to get it to fit but it made the Cat hang down 1.5". Not acceptable on some of Cali's bad roads. I will be going to Protech to get this issue fixed. Another issue(Besides removing the Passenger Side Fan on the Radiator is that my AC now isn't blowing cold. It could be that the bottom aluminum line touching teh collection could be an issue too. If anyone knows an alternate AC line i can use that is shorter than the Stock SE-R one, please let me know. Yes, i HAVE to have AC. My car is a street car after all. I know now i need to get a couple of slim PUSHER fans to get my stuff working the way i want it to again. Is SPAL the only brand people are using now a days? ANyway, more updates to come!
The BIG surprise was that the exhaust is MORE quiet now! Maybe because the STOCK 20V Manifold is so much thicker that it just lowers the resonance of the exhaust. I hardly have to use my EVC(Exhaust Valve Control) around the neighborhood now.
