Thread: det+vvl head Qs?

We are doing a det avenir block and vvl head project on my b13. My current set up is jwt ecu whit cobra maf and 600cc incgetors whit. A t28rs60. So my question is do I need to up grade the jwt ecu for the vvl head. Or can I just use a msd 8969 to work for the solenoids whit out up grade the jwt ecu? Thanks !

you don't need to switch your ecu to use the vvl solinoids you can hook up the vvl to the msd window swich and it will be fine but I would make sure your ecu is tuned to your setup cause remember once that vvl is engagaed more air is flowing
