I'm not sure positively but I have a feeling the throw out bearing is suspect. I have a whole thread in the general SR20 section.

I pretty much despise anything with the word "bearing" in it

no spark
seems like no one asked if the car cranks over if so then, are you using the same harness?, if so then make sure your ground are correct batt ground to engine also goes to chassis, should all be off same batt wire. then I would check the three wire ground off the main harness usually located towards the rear of engine you can ground that to either the engine or the chassis atleast either will work I usually ground it out to the engine, and if those are good make sure the ground that runs off the alternator sub harness if also grounded out to the chassis, and just make sure the engine is grounded out to the chassis with its own ground or through the batt ground if those are all good then I would proceed to check the connectors coil, distrib, power transistor which I believe is pretty hard to mix up, also check the spark connector by the ecu I know on one of my first swap I made the mistake of not connecting the sparke connector near ecu. you should have the main ecu blu 10mm plug, then fuel pump relay ,then a white squarish connector usually tucked back behind radio dash

Thanks for all the suggestions but my car has been up and driving since Wednesday! I love this motor

I am having a similar issue. Can you be more specific of what fusable link?
My problem:
Car was running with stock Ecu. Got a chip on it with a basic tune. Now doesnt get spark!

Did you touch anything g else and if I were you I would. Heck the ECM fuse in the fuse box also ignition fuse and its possible if the install was t done correctly the e u could've been fried

Just unplugged the stock DE ECU and thats it. I also wired the vvl solenoids but did not touch anything else. Pretty sure everything was done right. Haven't checked fuses as I had to leave in a rush but will do so tomorrow.

It's the fuse box next to the driver side headlight. There should be about 4 green fusable links and one brown one. It's a 25amp that is usually the culprit. Make sure you take them all out and pop open the tops and investigate the innards.
