Are there some gauges to run that is not really super vital but just safety or cautious with a VE?

Nisport still around? That's the only company I remember that made the adapter for that was pretty much a plug and play. Other then that I will have to tap into the thermostat housing?

custom steel makes a adapter for oil and water. You might try gregv to see if he can still get them. tapping the water neck is a option for the water or using a in-line hose adapter. I have the nissport oil adapter with the cs water neck adapter.

Gregv at GSpec has water temp adapters that replace the stock part where the upper radiator hose connects to the head.

If the car will see any track time, it is critical to monitor oil temperature. This requires removing the oil pan and adding some thickness to allow drilling and tapping to hold the sending unit. This was easier to do than it sounds and there is a "How To" thread on one of the forums.
