It was a basic T3T4 set up with a pro-tech manifold.

Car was at 13 psi IIRC.

The rods are the same on a 2.0 ve and de. I pulled enough apart to take notice. The setup was mines, a simple log manifold t3/t4 E turbo. It made 317 at 10 pounds. Did not go any farther because I was running a stock de ecu and airflow meter, and small injectors. AFC II. sounds sweet when the vvl kicks in open waste gate.

Yes they are the same. They should handle over 400whp without issue. The tune is the biggest thing. I believe that you can do up to 12psi with a jwt computer tune. They are always on the conservative side. I have successfully run a DET on 87 octane in the winter on 19psi. I am at high altitude but I am guessing that 10-12 should be fine. A ball bearing turbo will help a lot! The higher efficiency of the bb turbos means colder air into the engine. I don't know if you could do 12psi on a t25 setup.
