Thread: Radiator hose for SR20VE, is it the same with GTir One's ?

My all-time abuse sr20ve starting to give up on a few part, radiator and water line hardened and leaking.
Already got myself an aluminum radiator, but i have problem to get a reliable radiator hose from internet store, forget about my local dealer.

I have no faith in OBX product, prefer to a more reliable brand like samco , but it seems samco only produce radiator hose for RNN14 GTir Sr20det, im pretty sure those misc hose at the rear of the block will not work, what about the 2 large hose at front ( upper and lower )? looks the same, not sure about the inlet dimension, anyone ?

I just found the old thread from Motoiq, it can work without any issue.

I always thought you needed to run the GTiR coolent neck (head side) with GTiR Hoses as the neck is bigger than a normal sr20

Just measured mine. The gtir coolent neck opening is 5mm bigger than the standard sr20de/ve/det

Ive used these radiator hoses kit that was "for GTiR" and worked with any problem.
