


cory, I will go back to the same dyno.
Now I did go with the thicker OEM head gasket, and I am aware it may cost me some power.
BUT.... port and polish with Flow dynamics Flow Bench and 3 angle valve job for the motor. I'd be happy with just 5 extra HP really. Made 206whp @ 7900 something RPM @ 112MPH. 210whp would be good with me. But with the thicker head gasket, IDK.

Thicker ones are normally aftermarket but...
If you are using a thicker hg, then I assume it's a metal one. It's normally recommended that you re-surface head and/or block when using metal hg to ensure a proper 'fit'. If that is done, then your cr should be back to where you were or close.
