What do you guys think of this? (Intake manifold)
G Spec Performance - Plenum Kit, VVL (P11)

Greg says it could add 10WHP on a NA VVL. $292

Here's my stock manifold taken off:

It certainly would be a lot prettier.

I already have the whole intake manifold taken off if you've followed my VVL coolant boiling over thread..

just me personally, i like the n1 runner version, and port the runners ($150ish from greg) with the iacv bit welded on.that will give you the power you want, but its more like $900-1000 by the time you fit t/b,elbow,porting,welding etc.

love the idea of simply buying stuff "off the shelf" and it fits and it works.

The pr guys love that set up. I was skeptical based on the small diameter entries and length but works well for them. Give it a try. Just pls go back to the same dyno...

cory, I will go back to the same dyno.

Now I did go with the thicker OEM head gasket, and I am aware it may cost me some power.

BUT.... port and polish with Flow dynamics Flow Bench and 3 angle valve job for the motor. I'd be happy with just 5 extra HP really. Made 206whp @ 7900 something RPM @ 112MPH. 210whp would be good with me. But with the thicker head gasket, IDK.

People have posted before and after graphs before. It can make 10whp if your going to tune.. don't worry about the gasket, its not going to make a significant difference
