Could it be that you have not gotten to learn the car since you installed N1's?

Also as others have said:

1. Get the car sorted out

2. Use the same dyno you used before installation of N1

All the best.

Peace

HP10T his chain oiler got knocked off his motor when the shop that installed his springs n retainers tried to adjust the cam gears without taking the tensioner out. Then he bought a 20V and installed it. http://www.sr20-forum.com/vvl/69657-20v-heart-transplant.html

why would you want the cams to switch over a lil higher? on my car i have the cams switching on throttle % and at 3800rpm. i had tuned at a local shop here in south fl and when it was on the rollers i was asked at what point do most people switch there cams over and i said between 4200-5000.
while we were tuning the car was just making more and more power the lower we set the switch point at. then we just left it at 3800, and set it up that it would have to be over 70% throttle to make it crack. so whats the benefits over switching over high?

You're the first to have N1s switch so low. The switch point for stock VE cams is higher than your switch point for your N1 cam setup. With the additional lift on both high and low lobes with N1s the power curve is higher in the upper rim range with the shift points usually above 5k on most setups with supporting mods. Don't know your setup but if it works for you then enjoy. Both of my B13s have N1s and dyno tuned & during their dyno runs anything below a 5k switch point made a nasty dip in the power curve with significant hp loss.

WHat Andy said. The shop that worked on my car tried to cover it up trying to blame me for their lack of attention and bad work ethics. I will never go back there again learned my lesson when it comes to my car, the BIGGEST talkers are usually the worst when it comes to honoring their work. WHen i took my car to technosquare, the found the issue and and also remeasured all the shims and found one of the sets were reversed(EX-and Int) sides were flipped. Just a nightmare.
