Didn't the vehicles that came with the SR20VE stock only activate it like 200RPM before the stock fuel cut? And people were saying that was dumb of Nissan?

I'm just saying I fudged around with the activation point on the same dyno on the same day without making any other changes and it messed with the numbers for sure, there was more torque lower but less HP higher when the switch was at like 3800rpm, it's set right now at 5100rpm because the motor made the most power there.

Stock vvl activation in sr20ve is intake 5800rpm and exhaust 6200rpm. Rev limit is 7200rpm

Stock vvl activation in sr16ve [non n1] is intake 5800rpm and exhaust 6800rpm. Rev limit is 8300rpm

P12 Primera [Version 2 sr20ve] - 6600rpm both cams

Dont remember the N1.

Peace

I just find it odd that the vvl activation point can mess with peak power
