SR20VE w/ boltons - 186whp

Friend dynoed his n14 that is used for hillclimb racing. Basic and cheap setup for now.

186whp/206Nm, VVL at 4300rpm

Stock SR20VE
SR16VE cams +3, -5 (thanks payu)
SSAC header
2.25" exhaust
JWT filter w/ velocity stack
Nistune ECU dyno tuned

Car is waiting for Tri-Y header, 3" intake and 3" exhaust. Hope to see 200whp mark.

Good numbers. One of my previous set ups with SR16ve non-N1 cams and same cam gear settings made 190whp on 90 octane.

You may need n1 cams to hit the 200whp mark though...

Interesting, VVL at 4300. Mine hit 206 w/ VVL at 5100. I wonder if I should lower it a bit?

That has nothing to do with peak power.

Usually 54-5600rpm for N1s.

With intake, Tri-Y and 3" exhaust i believe it is possible to gain 14whp over 2.25" messy exhaust and old SSAC. Car also made 192whp but with not that good powerband.

Cam setting was recommended by Payu and worked best on the dyno.

you should have kept it bredda that car could have pulled like a bitch and thanks for the effort with those goodies
