16ve question
ive seen different posts about putting 16ve pistons in a 20ve to bump the compression up and have seen that the pistons need to be notched for the oil squirters. my question is if you have a 16ve block what would adding 2.0 rods and crank do for you as far as compression change and would you still need to notch the piston? aslo if i were to do this im guessing id be better off with a 4cw crank am i right? thanks in advance

yes the SR16 block and the SR20VE block are pretty much the same. You will need to notch the pistons to clear the oil jets.

another question what would be the cheapest route to get 12.5 comp n1 pistons or custom. also does anyone make custom pistons and would they need to be notched as well? ive read up that n1 pistons get you about 12.5-12.7 but im guessing those also need to be notched
