You are correct, I was confused. I am going to leave the runners the same for now and just try out the Q45 TB and 3.5" intake tubing.

They have been glued in, plan on using some epoxy though in place of the glue.

At $3300aud, the Custom Plenum Creations is clearly aimed at those wanting to go to the next level. made from a solid billet, it features taper runners to your spec with 90mm or 102mm custom throttle body, and top feed rail to suit 11mm or 14mm injectors.

this example is off a toyota 4age 20v motor.

Here's what I'm busy with at the moment. The runners have a good angle into the head, but it causes constraints in terms of how long I can get them because of the firewall. I still need to add the plenum around them.

Right now I'm contemplating leaving it as is, possibly going shorter on the runners., or
Have slight bends added to the runners to angle the stacks more upwards in order to get more length. They're roughly 7.8" now.

Either way I'm having a centre feed slot above or below the plenum with an 80mm TB.

Would love some input on runner length and the downside of adding bends into the runners....?

A smooth bend to gain length for an N/A build is preferable IMO.
