Thread: Going to dyno Wednesday. Any estimates on peak HP?

i would assume at most 2whp more or less.... in my opinion the cai on the dyno wont yeild u any gains.... may actually make u lose.... again its my opinion.... i havent seen the pulley make power but add to the the reponse a the car. the flywheel may be the only major factor.... if the clutch wasnt slipping on ur previous dyno pulls then a new clutch set up wont give anything either.... with all my rambling i hope u hit a good mark and im proved wrong

Explain? Im planning on dynoing with both the current setup and warm air to be sure.

Get your hands on a bpi stack and run it as a WAI setup. You can test the CAI but more than likely the WAI will own it.

I know I've seen gains with a longer intake vs just the short ram on the dyno.

So whens the dyno? What'd it make?. And was it corrected and on the same dyno?

Interesting. Whats the issue with the CAI, turbulence? Length of the piping? To be honest, I felt no change except the intake got louder.

With the underdrive crank and water pump pulleys, although I know they tend to make/free up HP all over the place, to me it feels like the car is peppier in the 6000-8000 RPM range. Could be just me though, but it feels different.

BTW I'm going to the dyno next Wednesday, not today

What gear(s) should I dyno in? The owner of the shop says 4th gear.
