Hmmm, was planning on running a CC chromoly flywheel on the next build... How many km on the flywheel, @derm and what type of useage did it see?

Also, is that an older style CC flywheel (Ultra lightweight STU version)? @Dominic@CCI It looks to be different than the pictures that are currently posted on the CC website for the STU version. The pictures on the site for the SR20DE FWD flywheel appear to show smaller unsupported areas on the outer portion of the flywheel, by the ring gear. Can you confirm if this is accurate or not?

The pictures on the website are generic fillers, actually from a Honda, I will work on getting out into the warehouse and grabbing some pictures of what we have on the shelf.

bought a flywheel like this from jgy years back for a build i was doing.... didnt end up using it tho.... what were u doing when this happened?

I've had a ring gear loosen up and start to come off a fidanza flywheel. The three screws holding it on backed out and gouged the block. Luckily not deep enough to cause any more issues.

I think because they are better or more reliable.. I've had a couple with no problems
