Thread: Some baseline testing e-85 sr16 pistons

@p10ftw decided to do some baseline testing and see how much his build would benefit from e-85.
De block
Sr16 pistons -1mm
Vvl head n1 cams 0-2
4cw crank
Stock Intake
Stack
Exhaust cut out to a 2"or 2 1/8 exhaust
370cc injectors
Ssac header
93 octane it made 204whp but averaged 202whp.did not like timing
E-85 made 211whp consistent benefitted from the added timing and bit leaner mix. Made more power from start to finish.
Car is still on a SSAC header and stock intake system. Revving to 8500rpms

After the holidays we will be working on the header and intake.

Great work as always fellas. I think I will be switching to E85 in the spring. I wish you guys were closer so you could use my 2.0 4-1 header.

Thanks Bes would be nice, it would be nice to see a 10 or more hp gain with a nice header and intake system. But for now the ssac will do. Let's see if we can make the track before Christmas.

What was the duty cycle like on the 370's with E85?

^^^ Jaime, to be honest I left the cable at home . We have the 370's at 4 bar.but from the amount of fuel I needed to add to the tables I think we will run out at around 220-225whp. Thanks Jaime.
