Even on stock compression 2.0L setups the 184c beats the N1 EVERYWHERE.
Most average 8-12whp all over the powerband. I said it before, if you are getting zero gains you guys are doing something wrong. Whether shimming or degreeing. Results never vary here. Every setup shares one outcome, more power/TQ.
Results you see have nothing to do with the N1 and everything to do with location and elevation. For example, my cousins JDM civic type R tuned at 175whp here in CT and 189whp once received in Brownstown,Jamaica using correction factors to reflect dyno jet #'s.
In Ohio, bolted VE's who trapped 103-106 mph in Englishtown,NY (about 100ft above sea level) 101-102 in Lebanon,NY (about 700ft above sea level) and trapped 96-98mph at drag way 42 in Ohio (about 2000ft above).
People need to understand the dynamics of geography and its effects on #'s both at the track and on the dyno.
