8500rpm seems quite fine to me. You are correct seeing that @ 8500 you should be doing 124mph. With 24.5" you should be crossing the finish @ 8000rpm. How does the car power-band match up to these 2 scenarios?

Slick size doesn't always work perfect with the math... on paper I know cars that should have done better w 22s but for whatever reason 23s still worked out to be quicker. .. and yes this is with the same 60ft times. 23 really seem to just do the trick for a lot of cars. Mine included aswell.

Any plans to ditch the glass.. another idea to shed some weight, cut all the hood/trunk supports and then use hood pins. You can ditch the hinges on the trunk and just use four pins... super light. I think once you have all the supports and hinges gone it should be close to carbon fiber weight.

All that its done already maybe replacing glass with plastic and some interior stuff and maybe a smaller fuel system (still on stock one) we will see!!

Leave the front and the back glass payu do yhe sides and a fuel cell :-)
