Any updates from anyone that was trying this?? Did it work? I've got a VE and I'm looking at COP, so I'd be interested in trying this if it works. Thanks.

The s13 plug/connector & the P12 plug/connector looks the same but they are not. I had to use an RB plug.

If it's a RB plug then one from a Z32 should work since the CAS look the same but are pinned differently.

Has anyone got a caliper and measure the Max CAS so we can get an idea of how different the dimensions are, as compared to the P12 CAS?

Thanks..

I don't.. sorry. So what did you have to do to the Maxima CAS to get it to fit in a SR20 FWD head?

I added some pic's of what i did to fit the maxima cas from a ve30 early 90's model. it worked for me but im going standalone so the draw backs didnt affect what i was using it for....

Machined the cas to fit the head .100 and added a 1/8" spacer to bring the depth back to sr20ve spec( flat of dizzy to the center of the pin to hold piece on the end to engage the cam)

Also had to flip that engagement piece.. On the ve30 its one way and sr20 its flipped there identical except for orientation...

As you can see there is no adjustment.. its fine for me but on a factory pcm it could be a problem

Turbo SE-R,

Nice work. Looks like you got it to work well. But you said there is no adjustment, it looks like you still have the slots where the bolts go in, it looks like you should be able to adjust it.
