Thread: Maxima CAS

Has anyone used the Maxima CAS with a RWD SR internal disc on their VE?

Does it bolt onto the sr head?

i think he means the actual CAS inside the distributor.

little information,
the disc out of the ka24de actually bolts into the s15/ sr20ve 20v cas.

just need to compare it to the p12 vvl cas, to see if it will bolt in properly and make contact with the camshaft. no worries if an ear has to be cut off.

about the disc, if the diameter of the disc is similar to the rwd det cas disc, you would be able to use an s13 disc in the maxima cas

I stumbled unto this on the net one day and I can't remember where, just figured i'd pitch the question to folks over here to see if they had any idea if it had any truth to it!

see if you can get hold of one. too bad my p12 cas is already in the engine bay.

im sure someone on the forum can get more detailed pix of the p12 unit

RWD sr20 have different pattern slot ... you have to re-use the rwd's ecu

hey @KennyX not sure what youre trying to say. i think he was suggesting using the s13 cas disc in the maxima cas, and indeed re-using the s13 ecu.... with the vvl setup in his 240sx
