New here, VVL versus my stock SE-R 2.0?
I see alot of VVL low mileage engines on ebay and would love to get a low mileage engine in my 1993 SE-R. Where can I look on this site to see the differences between the two engines. Is the VVL the better engine?? Thanks for any help.

That is from the other forum. However, it should be in the Manifesto. I don't care where the information comes from as long as it is accurate and enlightening.

And we need an Editor In Chief for the Manifesto.

Well, stock, 140hp for the DE versus 190hp (or so) for the VE.

The main thing is.. and this is just my advice.. if your DE is still running strong and you simply want more power, just go for boost. If your DE is running like crap or broken then I'd go for the VE. The VE swap, while relatively easy compared to some other swaps in similar cars, is still not a cakewalk.
