Well your in a good position to get on the best of the best being right there with Jamie. Im sure once the testing of those big cams are done youll probably jump right on that. Again, even better header in the works and then go for your custom intake manifold.

Either with 100+mm throttle body or twin Q45's. That would be pretty insane.

Before you know it, these 2.3's are gonna be over 300whp.

Worried the headgasket will not seal with nitrous in the mix.

Kind of running out of ideas. The car has to be in the 18XXlb weight area after some recent changes.

Curious to see what you guys come up with.

I think with some more headwork, higher comp pistons allong with itbs you"ll be alright. Wait aminute thats another 6-7 grand, YAY!!!!!!

I just wondering, if two TB´s setup works...

...then what about 50mm ITB´s with nice plenum and 4" piping with built in MAF? It should be much cheaper setup as most guys run daughterboard ECU.

This is what I mean for the intake manifold. It would just be ashame to do it and actually hurt power when the manifold is flowing well, just asking for a bigger throttle body. I honestly think my setup wants a 105mm TB.

As far as header I am pretty confident the new one will be on point.

I don't think the motor will see nitrous. Not much room to play with on a bored VET. Just worried it will not seal. Maybe if it had 1/2'' head studs.

Keep in mind they are using that to feed ITB's. I can't find a picture where they had the actual throttle bodies out of the hood. Had an h2b civic behind me at e-town earlier in the year with a setup like that.

If your gonna go with higher comp then try out some nitrous before.

Honestly, I think you should stick with what you have and just keep building on that. Higher comp (welded chamber possibly to save $ - although I am not sure how it would work out on the 92mm bore), new header, new IM w/ BIG TB, custom cams etc. It would be a shame to boost this thing now and like you say nawz might be risky. I see no reason you cant reach 300 whp with all parts being tuned together. The CT guys are making everyone a believer, again!

OR

You could slap an SR16 crank in there, dry sump the oil system, modify the valvetrain and with some custom cams...rev that bish to 14,000 rpm!

....or not.
