Which trans am I thinking of that has the "fins" on the casing? Maybe thinking of my brothers old 99 p11 trans.

sr18 in the jdm n15 gti uses the 32v series gearbox just like the sr16 and most sr20's, imo it doesn't look like a 50 series (jb15 vz-r) or a 70 series (p11-144 sr20, qg18 etc)
