i'll be checking mine this week. i think it's normal for 250psi-broken guage pressures. lol.

The motor is fresh though, should I wait for the rings to seal properly and try again?

It should be 300psi or over!!
Did you did a valve job or checked for bent valves, piston ring end gap clearance??

Haven't checked for bent valves and the rings were checked when I installed them

Pegging a 300 PSI comp. tester seems to be the norm. You have the right idea though, with giving the fresh build a bit of time to improve the ring seal. How many miles on the engine?

Plus, it's even across the board so that is a good sign.

Not even a mile lol drove like crap and my wideband decided to stop working so I parked it

^ Good decision on parking it. If you are worried, you can pop the valve cover and verify the cam timing. You could also check the valves with a bore scope if you are really worried but I'm guessing you are probably fine if the cam timing is good.

what procedure are you using to check the comp ratio? also is your cam timing 100% right?
