If they are fouling yes it's a bad thing, if they are not then it's fine.

I skip right over 7 and go to the racing series R5671A-8. Stocking number is 4554. They are non projected tip and non resistor. Run them and if you don't foul them you are good.

My stance on plug heat range, use the coldest one you can use without fouling out. If you foul them, lean the mixture or go to a hotter plug.

I've also run then on stock VE with no issues. You can probably play with timming a little bit more.

R5671a-7 is the seven heat range plug, wouldn't the r5671a-8 be too cold for n/a?
4091 is r5671a-7
4554 is r5671a-8

So I did some research on plugs and how to tell which heat range is good. And come to find out in my case the bkr6e's were close but the bkr7e's were way to cold. From what I read the ground strap should have a discoloration right at the "L" part of the strap if its too close to the end it's too cold. If it's too close to the weld where it meets the plug it's too hot. The 6's were almost to the L but the 7's didn't even change! So way too cold. Gonna try some bkr5e's today and see if that puts it in the sweet spot.
Pic of explanation.

And another link with some info.
