Thermospacers installed
Got my gaskets in yesterday so i thought it would be a good idea to install the thermo-spacers i bought, here i go thinking its like a 1hrs job max... it took me what the paper said 3-4 hrs in my driveway. The weather was nice, the removal and install went great no broken bolts, i was pretty happy with my install. I had to remove everything, i lost a lot of skin and blood doing this. it was fun took my time and made sure it was done right.

If anyone needs the bracket that goes from the tranny to the intake manifold i removed it it would not line up after the install, they can have it for free they will just have to pay shipping.

But all in all, its a great product and i felt that pulled a Little harder but its hard to say. there is one thing i was wondering anyone with this install did u get a whistling i cant figure it out. If u did how did u fix it or not, it only happens when like cruising or light throttle, and only under RPM

Thanks for taking the time to read this, Happy building

cheers

Ohh man nice rob! You might want to check out the whistling tho. My CRX did it and it was a leak on the intake mani.

if there was a leak in th intake mani... then it would be in limp mode or the car would nto want to idle because there is air being sucked in, after the maf...

it wouldn't go into limp home mode from an intake leak, just spray some soapy water around and look for bubbles just to double check

how is soapy water going to do anything? air isnt coming out of the mani.

get some carb clean or break cleaner, and spray it around where any possibly leaks are. if you find that when you spray one particular area and the rpm changes, you found where your leak is.....

hey i just tried to install my spacers and the bolts they provided are too long or they feel like it at least. i dont want to strip the head so i took them back out. the ones they gave me are about 1/2" longer than the oem ones. i thought they would be about 1/4" longer(thickness of the spacer).
