Take the size velocity stack being used and multiply it by 2 to give the TB needed to properly supply all 4 cyclinders.

In the case of my last custom manifold with 52mm stacks, a 104mm TB would be needed.

The ITBs are pretty small, under 52mm.

so 52mm stacks and 1 104 mm Tb would make a good custom manifold, care to share how it looks like and other dimensions?

Sorry for the hi-jack Jamie. Just putting it out there based on your good results.

$1k

there are guys in Jamaica and other Caribbean Islands too

not rich like the USA and UK guys

You got to pay to play.

unnecessary comment maybe?

i am paying and i am playing

the game has different levels

Not at all.

you are right you gotta play to play...

but I think what you dont realize what is hurting us when we buy parts from the US is the exchange rate.

I ust bought brand new N1s and a NEMURT and it cost me 55k wihtout taxes yet.

we need to pay more because of the exchange rate. just a thought

I completely understand the the whole exchange rate & its workings. I simply said, "you got to pay to play." I don't understand what the big deal is about what I said

Really? Are people complaining about $1000 for an ITB setup? LMAO!!! Have you seen the price of the Kinsler ITBs for a K series motor?

Honda Manifolds - Kinsler Fuel Injection

Dont expect VE ITB's to be cheaper than K series ITB's, especially ones that work well. I like the way they do the ram horns on these throttles, very smooth flow extremely well and their gains have proven this.

Another thing if you look closely is that you want the runners to match the angle of the ports roof to get the best results. Something Jamie has already stated. So if you have headwork done your going to want your ITB's angled to match the finished port's roof angle.

Then something like 45-50mm stacks with Q45 TB should be good budget intake mani... as Payu proved before.

Can you share what ITBs are we exactly talking about?

Speaking of Kinsler. My Dad knows that man very well, speaks with him on the phone bi-weekly and he has a GT40 in his garage along with a plethora of Maserati's.

50mm is the minimum I would expect on the SR20 engines. I was thinking Jamie was up to 55mm already for some reason.

Better options than what Kinsler has out right now. Not saying what he has is not good, but for me, there are better options.

Just trying to remember, the ASP header is made by Snickers who was outcast from this forum because it did not make more power but this thread clearly shows that the part is doing well. hmm

Umm, again all the fastest all motor hondas run Kinsler. Their numbers, times, traps, dont lie. You wouldnt have every single guy in the field using them if there were better options.

They dont make throttles from us and im sure a custom one-off set would be probably in the $3500 range for our cars from them as they can do custom C&C ones just like anything else.

FCR or Harley have designs that I like as well.

To each their own for preference and until more people such as Jamie take the time to slap them on an SR20 and provides us with facts and not theory, there is little point to arguing. The Gti-R head and VE head have vastly different intake ports for different reasons.

There is one better option.

A certain K made over 450whp NA and he was not on a Kinsler. He was actually on the same setup as mine, with the header built by the same person who built mine.

Kinsler makes great products, but there are smaller guys out there who are beating them by almost 20whp bolting on.

For Kinsler to make a VE setup it will be $5,000+.

If anyone wants my setup it will be for sale soon. No need for 2 sets anymore.
