Even if it's not ITB's, real power can be had with a real custom plenum manifold with a large enough TB and the right cam.

OK
Most guys here use regular VE runners with the Xcessive plenum not the N1 runners with the 45deg elbow and Q45TB I know its not the best but good numbers have been achieved for example Pito's 2.0l setup that makes now 228whp @ 158ft/lbs on N1 cams and regular SR16 pistons on a stock unported head with a Big tube Tri y converted to 4-1
Believe me most of the guys here including me cant afford the ITB's jejeje
Great gains on ITB's FTW!!!
Good job!!

You guys have alot of power to unleash with bigger cams and a custom manifold with a 100+mm TB. Next trip to PR I am going to bring some parts down. I will be in Vega Alta & Aguada before the end of the year. Maybe I can meet with you guys for a weekend.

Cool let me know with time so we can cook something out I personally live very close to Aguada I know the potential of the parts to be used but most guys here run on a very low budget and stick with what others have proved to give gains!!
Pito now its the famous tuner beacuse of his car!! We are friends and we share a lot of info from our experiences!!
He doesnt even have an account here or any of the SR20 related forums
But we can do a meet here if you come to the Island!!
Cheers!!

Great work!

Any pics of the manifold and/ or itb's?

Head work is very important and Jamie is a true master of porting!

Thought it was quite clear in the initial post.

86mm 12.5:1 CP pistons
Stock rods
4cw crank
Head was ported by me
Motor was assembled by me, rings gapped for nitrous.
Cams are not big by any means.
ASP 4-2-1 budget header
1st graph is with custom manifold with large TB
2nd is the next day after bolting on ITB's and AEM.

It's not surprising by any means, this test was done on a stock bottom end VE With N1 cams months ago and went from 205whp to 230whp.

Snickers header is putting in some serious work!

Would love to hear about 4-1 header tests when those are done.

- Jamie, it's official, let me know when I can send you my head for my 2.3 build.

P.S. People sleeping on the budget header. I have it on my car right now, but I still think the 4-2-1 tripple stepped will take it down.
