Thread: QG18 Cluster to P11 ECU - VVL swap

Hi everyone....
here is the story: a friend o mine swapped a SR20ve engine into a B15 sentra (originally equiped with QG18de). He used the vvl wiring harness and a Primera OBDI ECU---here is where I get into action.
I wired the entire engine, the car runs, but I dont have tach signal. I wired the pin 2 (tach OBD1 ECU) to the Sentra tachometer....nothing happens
Am I missing somethig?

You need to add a wire to the distributor coil and wire it back to B15 pin 2

OBD1 Pin 2 (tach) needs to go to pin 32 on b15.

Can't I just simply connect the pin 2 (OBDI) to the instrument cluster?
right now the B15 ECM was removed and the entire ECM wiring harness too.
Oh...and the QG18 was removed also (completely)
this B15 use throttle cable..not drive by wire
