Thread: Big misfire problem, HELP!!!

hahah yeah my mistake, i found out that sr20ve don't have egr :o

Perhaps i have the same problem

i forgot to tell you guys that like 3 months ago i changed my header to a 2.5 inch OBX one and i had to put my old O2 sensor from my old sr20 header and i had to extend the wires to plug it, perhaps i did something wrong there.

When i installed the header everything was great for like 2 months then this problem appeared.

My car is running much, much better now

I think it has something to do with my oxygen sensor when i changed my header, the sensor used to be just near the CAT but when i installed the header well i had to put the sensor on the header but the ecu was probably confused because of that, i need to go and have my car tuned again because it was tuned on dyno BEFORE i installed that header and its probably the reason.

But now i rev my far more often and it looks like all it wanted is to rev, probably running too rich

I have almost no more backfire / misfire anymore
