Big misfire problem, HELP!!!
I got a big problem with my sr20ve

I have it since like 4 year and it was always running excellent, no misfire at all.

But a month ago i ran into a small water hole(I have a Cold air intake) and the engine started misfiring for like 2 days even though i changed the filter right after, then all was fine for weeks but now it has misfires.

Maybe the MAF broke when water came into the maf

Now:
My car is misfiring very bad between 2500rpm to 3500rpm, but runs very strong after that just like before. If i shift my engine at like 4000rpm and fall back at 2500 it's when it's at it's worst, it misfires bad and it's annoying. It seems to run fine when it's cold, but when it's hot(5 minutes run) then the misfires are pretty bad. When i'm at 60 mph at like 3000rpm it's terrible. It feels like a misfire of all 4 cylinders to me. I don't see white smoke coming out of the exhaust it seems nornal.

I tried to fix this problem but so far nothing worked

So far i changed some things:

-Did an oil change
-Changed Spark plugs (NGK Iridium) i love these plugs
-Changed Negative battery cable(was very corroded)
-I put some injectors cleaner in the gas
-Cleaned the MAF connector

Now i'm thinking of changing the MAF, i'm using a N60 maf and the car is tuned since a while.

Some things i might change:

-Change the oil like 4 times to remove water in engine
-Change the maf
-Change the spark plug wires (taylor wires i got from a group buy on sr20forum like 3 year ago)
-Change the battery (It's 3 year old)
-Change the alternator (I think it's like 5 year old even older)

I searched a lot and couldn't find an answer

Can someone help or suggest things to check?

Thanks in advance

EDIT: I think i hear the engine pinging at like 3000rpm

Just cut the bottom ear off the dizzy. B14 dizzy should work.

I would change the MAF first.
