That part is the remote, not the one that goes off the oil filter housing.

They do sell the Greddy Unit that goes off the filter in the 3/4x16 unf but I'm worried about room back there with the adapter in place and the filter on the end of it.

The middle bolt on all greddy adapters has two threads.
One for the engine to fasten on filter's location and one for the filter itself.

On engine side you have to use the thread of the filter you are currently using (Μ20x1.5 for VE).
For the filter all bolts use 3/4x16UNF

240SX=S13 is using 3/4x16UNF on the engine side and 3/4x16UNF on the filter side.

I highly doubt you'll have any clearance issues.
The standard adapter has been used by locals on B15/N16, B14/N15, B13/N14 and S13

Here's how it looks on B15 chassis

Sweet thanks for the info! I guess I have another little side project to do before I put the motor back in the car.

I agree, the VE driven on the track needs an oil cooler, I did around 800 track miles this year on my VE and the temperature always reached 260* F when shifting at 7K + rpm.

I am looking to purchase this, any thoughts?:

oil coolers are required for ANY high hp VE. This is exactly the issue I am going to be addressing soon. I talked to GregV about getting something set up for this. I have no idea how hot my oil is getting, but 15w50 isn't holding up when beaten, so I know that it is needed now.

Did you read the description compared to the pic.? The oil cooler dimensions are totally different and IMHO useless on a VE. (unless it is a typo in which case I would verify with the seller...

What would be the optimum oil cooler size for a VE? Thanks.
