No, SOKO in cali sells VE's for 750 picked up

Give Ronald a call at soko (soko.com) and tell him Ashton sent you.

You wont find a cleaner motor and lower price in that area, guranteed. Ive bought about 25 motors from soko and have yet to have one that wasnt clean.

As far as the rest of the swap, research man. Depending on what boltons you have now will be what determines final cost.

You will at the least need a window switch to trigger the vvl, a new tune or new ecu depending on what you have now.

The rest, if you have boltons on your DE they can be moved over without issues. Just need to bore the holes out on the header so you can align the ports properly as they sit slightly different and if you dont you will be covering some of the exhaust port.

It all depends on the add ons and what you already have. I have about 2500 bucks into my swap, but I bought a ton of stuff new that I didn't really need, but it was more for piece of mind. Don't take any short cuts when doing the swap, trust me on this one.

I can vouch for ALN in DFW, see my car post for picks of the engine I got from them. Last time I checked all VE's with harness and engine go for about 850. Soko and ALN do 799. I don't know what ALN charges for shipping, but they offer door service which I think Soko has you get with the freight company and schedule door shipping.

The service I got from ALN was awesome. Got to test my own engine and pick from the 3 he had. Forgot to take my receipt and the dude took the time to mail it to me. Of course I live here, but if you live in DFW definately look them up first.

JDM Engine Corps you will not get anything like what they have pictures of. I went down there and the harness was hacked up, solenoids were f-ed up and the guy still wanted 1200 for it. Said good luck and left.

I got my ve from soko 4 780 with tax this thing runs clean after a year, they usually have 3 or 4 ves to choose from but wen I went they only had 1 so I had 2 take it,the bad thing was that I had to buy the ve solieniod plugs a side from miko but it was worth it

I have hotshot headers/int/flywheel and might get somme pulleys which would sound great on a ve and how do you bore the holes and If I buy a used jwt can that be tuned to activate the vvl ? I heard that you have to cut harness and a bunch off stuff is there a list of whats needed ?
