my MSD window switch randomly turns off
My MSD window switch (located on the passenger floor, just to the right of the ECU) to control VVL keeps randomly shutting off while driving. Then it cycles back up and the display flashes the usual "ON" then "Cylinders" then "4" then displays the RPM until it goes off again and says "OFF"

The wiring seems good, anyone have this problem? I did some research and found out these things aren't the best quality.

Should be an ignition switched source.

Find out where it's wired to, it should be a constant power source when ignition is on. I used cig lighter without any problems.

Yeah, it only turns off and on maybe 1-3 times every like 20-25 minutes of driving, not a constant thing. So thought perhaps it was defective

i had the same problem and it turned out to be the ground. i got a wire brush to scuff off some paint to bare metal and it worked.

never hook anything up to a constant power source. If you did please tell me there is atleast a fuse between the battery and the switch.

Ok so I drove around tonight, "spiritly" with lots of hard braking and accelerating, while my g/f was holding the msd box in a position that had plenty of slack in the wiring, and it never shut off once. So it sounds like a loose wiring issue.
