ive got a new manifold on the way and already have a new oil pan. Ill keep you in mind if anything else comes up. I should be getting everything buttoned up(short of the manifold) tonight and tomorrow

just got my letter today. They said that since I didnt sign exception or damaged that I was S.O.L. and my claim was denied. So just for the record, dont buy motors from anyone that ships though Old Dominion freight lines.

The next motor I get, I think I'm just going to sign as damaged regardless so if I get home and something is f-ed up I can file a claim. I love how they said that there is no way to tell how it was handled once it left the dock, but it was strapped down in the bed of a 1/2 ton Dodge, so it wasnt moving anywhere. Oh well, I guess you live and learn.

That's not a bad idea at all. I'll need to remember to try that.
