JWT Flywheel
I'm starting to work on the VVL and getting it ready to put in the car. I go to put the flywheel on and it's not like other flywheels I have purchased as it is snug going over the hub of the crankshaft.

I have a couple questions:

1. Are the SR20 JWT flywheels snug going on the crank? I have used JWT on a 300ZX and it just slipped right on.

2. Noticed there is a flywheel alignment hole on the SR20 do the JWT flywheels have to line up a certain way to this hole? I believe my 300ZX one didn't matter.

3. I saw in a post as I was educating myself that you are beter off just leaving the pilot bearing that came with the CVT alone. It was an older post so is this still true? Anyone try other bearings?

4. Anyone know where which number is the part number? There are 2 of them on the flywheel and neither match the number on JWT board. Maybe it's an old version of the flywheel? Look like the flywheel is etched with NIS11-571D.

Thanks for the help in advance

So the part number for the Findanza Flywheel ends in NS11 per the flywheel thread. Anyone know if Jim Wolf used Findanza for manufacturing at any time?

The guy I bought the flywheel from said he had it on his SR20DET. Also listed it as usable in B13-B14 SER cars.

holy crap I think the JWT is a findanza. The etched number looks almost exactly the same minus the last 4 after the dash.

He didn't say. I know there's a difference on a GTIR crank possible the center is smaller?

The flywheel bolts are larger on the gtir. Do the bolts for the det fit through the flywheel you have with ease? If they don't fit at all and/or you feel like you have to force them, it is most likely a gtir flywheel.

I sent an e-mail off to JWT for comfirmation, but yep bolt seem a little small (not much though) for the flywheel. Enough to wiggle them around a bit in the hole.

Kyle, I'm looking at your pics and it seems as though the center hole is a mit bigger then the JWT one. Think you can measure that diameter for me? Thanks
