its really hit or miss, my 2 headers fit ok, i had to drill out a few of my holes just a tad on mine but for the most part just had to hold up on the header while tightening the nuts. Dan and my friend Jesse's headers there is something wrong, you cant get a nut on the bottom #2 port studs, the nut hits the primary cause its to close to the head, drilling will not help..

The one I have is in fact built for the VE as stated time and time again when I ask JPerformance in the UK. They told me they sell alot of them and the flange is for the VE. They have a different model for the DE. Again I haven't placed it up there yet, but I think they are holding to there story. I geuss I will see in about a week

Seems fishy to me, esp since the jdm/euro cars don't come with egr right? So what's with the egr bung? If they make them for their community why would they put something on that no one needs?

They are probably the same as we get, nothin special..

I can't vouch for this header other then providing a link but it would make sense for the manufacturer to have all of the necessary bungs for any application. This would cut down on manufacturing costs. It would make sense, from a production point, to only produce 1 set of primary/secondary tubes with all the potentially neccessary bungs and then just change the flange for VE or DE. Or just port the DE flange as required as the flanges are easier to obtain.

That being said, at over 300 USD with shipping and conversion of British pounds to American/Canadian dollars, it doesn't appear to be worth it. Not to me anyway. I'd rather just buy me a $100 eBay and get to portin'! I was running a used $30 hot shot header on my N1'd VE. A couple hours with a dremel or less with a die grinder is about all you need!

If this truly is a VE flanged 4-2-1, it is nice to see some people recognizing the need for a VE specific cheapy header.
